Prophet Muhammad said:

 In this informative book, Shaykh as-Sa'di aims to give the readers a basic understanding of Qur'anic sciences.

To facilitate this, he has divided the book into three main segments: the first section covers belief in Allah along with a discussion of His beautiful names and attributes; the second part is dedicated to the sublime morals and manners that true believers should implement in their daily life; the final section of the book details basic fiqh rulings that every Muslim needs in day-to-day acts of worship and interaction with others.

About the author Abdur-Rahmân Nâsir as-Sa'di at-Tameemi, may Allah have mercy on him, was a prominent scholar of the twentieth century. He was considered an expert in the field of Islamic jurisprudence (fiqh). He was also an expert in tafseer (Qur'anic exegesis), which he studied extensively. His students included Muhammad ibn Salih al-'Uthaymeen.
